In short
A reseller sells cPanel hosting accounts to end clients. A master reseller can also create reseller accounts, so other businesses (agencies, designers) resell hosting under them. Start with reseller hosting; move to master reseller when other resellers want to buy from you.

Choose reseller hosting if
- You are starting out or host fewer than a few dozen clients.
- You sell hosting to end clients: businesses, schools, churches.
- You are a web designer bundling hosting with websites.
Choose master reseller if
- Agencies or freelancers want to resell hosting under you.
- You want to build a network: your resellers get their own WHM, their clients get cPanel, all white-labelled under your brand.
- You already run a hosting brand and want another income layer.
How a master reseller earns
You earn twice: from your own cPanel clients, and from the reseller accounts you sell to other businesses (who then pay you monthly or yearly however many clients they host).
Prices
Reseller plans start at Ksh 2,500 a month and master reseller plans at Ksh 5,500 a month. See reseller hosting and master reseller hosting.
Can I switch later?
Yes. Upgrade from reseller to master reseller in the client area when you are ready; your existing clients don’t need to move.
