In short
Hostnali reseller hosting is white-label: set up private nameservers (ns1 and ns2 on your own domain), add your logo to cPanel, and bill through your own WHMCS, so your clients only ever see your brand.
What white-label means
Your clients deal only with your company. They see your nameservers, your logo, your invoices and your support email. Hostnali stays in the background running the servers.
1. Private nameservers
Instead of our nameservers, your clients point their domains to ns1.yourbrand.co.ke and ns2.yourbrand.co.ke.
- Find the nameserver IP addresses in the welcome email you received after your order.
- At your domain’s registrar, register child nameservers (sometimes called “glue records” or “host records”) ns1 and ns2 with those IPs.
- In WHM, set ns1 and ns2 as your nameservers so new accounts use them.
Allow a few hours for the change to spread (DNS propagation).
2. Your logo in cPanel
In WHM, use the branding/customisation tool to upload your logo and set your company name, so clients see your brand when they log in to cPanel.
3. Branded billing
Use WHMCS on your own website with your logo, colours and email templates: order forms, invoices and reminders all come from you. See billing with WHMCS.
4. Branded support
- A support email on your domain ([email protected]).
- Your phone or WhatsApp number on your site.
- A ticket desk in WHMCS.
5. Your own terms
Publish your own terms of service and privacy policy that follow Kenya’s Data Protection Act, and say how you handle your clients’ data.
What clients won’t see
Server names in error pages and some technical headers can show the hosting infrastructure; that is normal for any reseller. What matters is that every place a client looks (nameservers, panel, invoices, support) carries your brand.
